Sentinel Diagnostics (Milano, Italy) is demonstrating the new SENTiNAT 200 and its panel of STAT-NAT kits for infectious diseases at MEDICA 2023.

SENTiNAT 200 is a fully automated sample-to-result system for DNA/RNA extraction, PCR setup, and amplification that includes two integrated thermal cyclers and the analysis software FastFinder. The system combines throughput, automation, and flexibility to better adapt to the various laboratory needs. It can perform multiparametric analysis of up to 15 viruses in the same run, processing from one up to 48 samples in four hours. The intuitive software that guides the operator through all the phases of the instrument setup and the barcode reader for samples and reagents help to reduce human errors. The operator can access to the data available on the Cloud anytime anywhere, to optimize the reporting time keeping full control over the results.

SENTiNAT 200 is designed to work with STAT-NAT SN200 kits which are also being highlighted at MEDICA 2023. STAT-NAT (Stabilized Amplification Technology) kits are based on Sentinel’s proprietary technology that has been developed with a new protective compound able to stabilize the activity of enzymes for a very long time with no temperature-controlled storage requirements. In addition to the STAT-NAT SN200 product line designed to be used with SENTIENT 200, Sentinel is showcasing the STAT-NAT kits designed for manual use and useful for low throughput requirements and STAT-NAT Flex kits designed for the semi-automated use and useful for low to medium throughput requirements.
